The Network: Men’s Success Initiative supports the development of undergraduate students of color who self-identify as men and their allies. We want our men to grow, thrive, succeed, and build a cohesive community here on campus. We are excited to welcome you to The Network!
About The Network
The goal of The Network is to make a notable positive impact on the lives and experiences of Black, Latino, Native/Indigenous, Pacific Islander, Asian, Desi, and other men of color at Cal State LA by connecting our young men and their allies to culturally relevant and engaging campus services, academic resources, and a supportive community that reflects them.
The Three Programmatic Pillars of The Network are:
- Social networking
- Academic Excellence
- Professional Development
Through these three pillars, our members are given opportunities to grow beyond the classroom, enrich their college experience, and find genuine community in the place they will soon call home: Cal State LA.
One would have to be an enrolled Cal State LA student in order to be a member of The Network. Although our organization is focused on men of color, we openly accept all students who wish to support our men of color into The Network.
