The Pacific Coast Council on Latin American Studies (PCCLAS) promotes scholarly research and dialogue between academics, professionals, students and many others in the United States, Latin America and Caribbean. Our interdisciplinary focus is only limited by geography as we look to share perspectives on the full cultural spectrum, as well as socioeconomic, political and environmental issues in the region.
We welcome members from the Pacific regions of Mexico, Canada and the United States, in addition to those who hope to contribute to the discipline's understanding of recent developments in the field. We invite you to learn more about PCCLAS mission and its pursuit of knowledge and new perspectives over the past seven decades.
If you are interested in participating in the 2016 PCCLAS Conference and its theme "The Global Diaspora and the Diffusion of Latin American Culture and Society," head over to the Conference Call.
Thank you for visiting and be sure to follow us on social media to stay apprised of the latest happenings and research in the region.
