The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX reviews and investigates complaints of Discrimination, Harassment, Retaliation, Sexual Misconduct, Dating and Domestic Violence, Stalking and Prohibited Consensual Relationships between Employees and Students. The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX handles all complaints involving such allegations pursuant to the policies and procedures set forth in the CSU Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Exploitation, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Stalking, and Retaliation (Nondiscrimination Policy) (Revised January 1, 2022). Cal State LA adopts CSU policies and procedures as specified, whenever applicable.
The Office of Civil Rights and Title IX also facilitates sexual misconduct and sexual harassment prevention trainings, implements ADA accommodations for employees, and oversees the University's lactation spaces.
