The Department of Economics and Statistics works to equip students with the skills required in today’s job market. Students can use the broad training in Economics as the basis to specialize in many areas such as education, public policy and financial market analysis, and business forecasting.
The department offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Arts (MA) degree, as well as a minor in Economics. Students graduating from our BA and MA programs have gone on to such positions as statistician, teacher, and business professional.
